A detox can be a 1 day, 3 days, 7 days to a month program. The following is a very simple 1 day detox plan which can be practiced once a week or atleast once a fortnight to remain in the best of the health.
For detoxification, begin by taking a mild laxative the night before
Drink lukewarm water first thing in the morning to get the bowels working actively and start releasing toxins
Have a bowl full of fresh and seasonal fruits topped with handful of nuts like almonds, walnuts, few raisins in breakfast
Mid morning meal can be of coconut water, herbal teas, lemon water
Eat a light khichri or veg dahlia by 3 pm and then get some rest
Evening snack would be herbal teas or vegetable juice
Dinner would comprise of warm vegetable soups with steamed or sautéed veggies
