Ingredients:
1 cup whole green moong dal
1 inch pc of ginger
2 green chillies
1 chopped onion
Salt to taste
Oil for browning
Water as needed for Grinding moong dal

Method:
Wash and Soak Green Moong Dal (Lentil) overnight
Grind with ginger and green chillies adding just enough water to make a smooth but thick batter
Add salt and water to make into a spreadable consistency
Heat the pan and spread a cup of batter like a pancake
Sprinkle chopped onion and coriander as per the taste
Brush the oil and let the chilla cook on both sides
Serve hot with coconut, mint or tomato chutney
